My commutator has become thin. Can you still repair it?

Poor commutating surface conditions can result in unexpected problems such as flash-over. Although it is currently extremely difficult to obtain commutators because there are no manufacturers capable of producing them, please consult with Fuji Electric Machine Manufacturing first because we are able to manufacture new commutators.

I don't have any drawings. Can you still repair it?

Based on our history of successful repair of various types and models of motors, Fuji Electric Machine Manufacturing can receive your equipment and examine it in order to provide repairs for various types of motors regardless of manufacturer or model.

My motor suffered a malfunction. Can you examine it to determine the cause?

Based on the conditions of the malfunctioning equipment, we will measure the fracture path of the insulation to investigate the cause. We will also study possible countermeasures and suggest methods for preventing similar type of troubles.

Can you replace only the electric wires?

Electric wires exposed to the external environment are subject to accelerated deterioration in rubber parts. We recommend that they be updated on a regular basis. Please consult with Fuji Electric Machine Manufacturing first as we can replace the wires only.

We have only a few technicians, making repair difficult.

Although my motor is small, can you still repair it?

As small motors can be purchased at comparatively less expensive prices, the repair costs may be the same as purchasing a new one in some cases. We will propose an economical repair method based on your consultation with us.
